When you need more control than the PocketQuiver program provides, a custom layer is your best option. A custom layer is an image that can be downloaded & used in a graphics program such as Photoshop ($$) or Gimp (free) for detailed editing.

‍*Note - A custom layer is intended for reference only & should not be included in the final graphic.

1. Click on the add layer button and choose the custom layer option from the drop-down list.
2. In the properties panel on the right side of the window, click on the download template button. The template will download into your downloads folder on your computer.
3. Edit the template in a graphics editor. Make sure to add your design to a separate layer than the reference layer then delete the reference layer before exporting your work. Note that custom layers accept transparency.
4. In PocketQuiver, upload your new image by clicking on the upload square image box & navigating to where you have saved your new image.
